FDA states that Strattera; A drug used in the treatment of ADD could be linked with suicidal thoughts. Eli Lily the drugs maker says it will add a black box label warning users of the side effect.
ADD Parents are made aware of a new treatment provided by the Drake Institute. Neurofeedback combined with therapy and language training helps children overcome the debilitating effects of the ADD symptoms.

Chief Gates of the LAPD has high stress and hyper tension but he stays on the job. The number of police departments who are seeing disability claims increase because of stress is on the rise. Police departments here in LA are trying the Drake Institute Stress Management program to help combat hypertension on the job. The police chief Gates is one of the first test subjects. He responds very well to treatment and has been able to control his hypertension and blood pressure without the use of any medications.
Hearts pound and blood pressures sore as many in Los Angeles deal with more stress their everyday lives. Helping to combat that growing trend is the Drake Institute which uses biofeedback to help the patient control their stress levels. Stress is directly linked to higher blood pressure and hyper tension as well as many other disorders and diseases. Many patients have been able to stop using their medication and control their stress easily.
Officer of the LAPD uses biofeedback to reduce his stress levels. That reduction in stress caused his blood pressure to lower and hypertension to be reduced to levels that allowed him to be back on the force. This officer was the first member of the Los Angles Police Department who underwent the biofeedback treatment as part as a joint study with the Drake Institute.
